Spend the Day on Beale Street

Located in Memphis, Beale Street is an almost two-mile-long road that stretches from the Mississippi River all the way to East Street. On Beale Street, you’ll find a wide selection of bars, clubs, and restaurants that attract thousands of tourists to the area every year.

Visit the Parthenon

Nashville is home to a life-sized replica of the Greek Parthenon in Athens, Greece, including a life-sized statue of Athena. The Tennessee Parthenon is located in Centennial Park, Nashville’s premier urban park, and is one of the top tourist attractions in the city.

The replicas were originally built for Tennessee’s Centennial Exposition back in 1897. The Parthenon also houses an art museum that displays a permanent collection of 63 different paintings dating back to the19th and 20th centuries. The art museum also displays a number of temporary exhibits throughout the year.
